Being angry or frustrated isn’t entirely a bad thing. How and why? Well, the answer is simple. It’s not always a negative emotion because it’s a necessary one. In other words, your anger should be respected and seen as valid on some occasions.

Even more gripping, being angry is the only way out of certain situations in life. For example, you need to be angry enough to want a better job, lifestyle routine or relationship. It’s a huge part of life, whether you like it or not. Additionally, invalidating another person’s anger is something you need to stop if you do it on a regular basis.

1. Injustice

From discrimination and oppression to inequality, being angry at unjust issues is always okay. As long as your anger comes with some action then you’re totally within your rights. For instance, voting in an election and speaking up for change and positivity online count as activism which is commendable.

If you’ve experienced a significant loss such as the death of a loved one or the end of a relationship, it’s okay to be angry while grieving. It’s a way of processing your emotions and dealing with the reality of the situation.

Being angry when you’ve been backstabbed is another valid reason to let off some steam. When people disappoint you by cheating, lying or breaking a promise, it’s fine to express yourself authentically. 

4. Abuse

Whether it’s mental, physical, emotional or sexual, anger is a normal response to violation of boundaries. Nobody should be manipulated and abused, ever! 

5. Violation of Privacy
