Check out 6 ways to know if you hate your job…

1. You hate the weekends

One easy way to know if you hate your job is if you hate Sunday nights. If your weekend ends on a Saturday, and the next 24 hours has you sad and anxious, then there’s a problem. It’s perfectly normal to dread when weekends are over sometimes, but when you have recurring jitters, that’s a bad sign.

2. You talk negatively about your job/colleagues/boss

Yep, you need to pay attention to the way you describe or discuss work when it comes up. If you’re repeatedly struggling to talk about tasks, the people you work with or your boss positively, this is a clear red flag. In some cases, identifying what triggers the negative emotions you feel about them helps to feel and handle things better instead of leaving the organization. However, strong negative feelings should be addressed with the necessary drastic steps i.e. quitting.

3. Decreased performance level

4. You don’t have the energy for anything outside work

If you hate your job, you most likely feel like it zaps out your energy a lot. For example, if your interest in activities outside work like socializing feels like stress, there’s a possibility you feel that way because work has drained you and left you depressed. Additionally, if you blame work for not being a fun person, there are some issues to recognize and resolve.
